Cerrado Dourado is a local small agency from the State of Tocantins. A word from the agency:

In 2001, we performed out first expedition to Jalapão, and it's been a love since the first sight! The expeditions to the region have become a habit. From this passion, we founded Cerrado Dourado Expeditions in 2016.

In just 1 year out clients have widely recognized the quality of our expeditions and we were ranked in 1st place on TripAdvisor's category for "Activities in Jalapão State Park".

The biggest part of our team is originally from Jalapão region, and we value a lot the local population.

We are also keen on environmental preservation in our region, as well as preserving our people's culture, always including interaction with quilombo communities in our expeditions and promoting activities that can generate wealth to their communities.

Trekking to Morro Jacurutú is one of the attractions that adds directly to a family in the region, with out partnership for tickets and rentals equipments.

The visit to Fervedouro Lagoa Encantada, provides for the landlord that wouldn't have the attraction open to the public if it wasn't for our support, likewise with Wilson's Prainha, that generates extra income to the family.

In the same way, all attractions that provide contact with communities, generate wealth to our locals.
